September 12, 2016: Milagros en Peñasco

This week we had some amazing experiences!  Yesterday a random American invited us to his restaurant to eat, and he is from Utah, and he fed us and other missionaries and explained to us his conversion story that was a true miracle.

Also, this week I was in divisions with Hna. Riquelme, and we went to visit a family that is friends with Americans, and they were there (the American family). And usually, they can't share their testimonies because they don't know how to speak Spanish. But it was cool because I was able to translate for them, and we were all crying, and they could share their love and experiences. And the family that we were visiting accepted to be baptized on the 24th of Sept. Wahoo!

Also, on Saturday we were praying that we could find new people to teach. And then we found a super cool family! And then, there is another guy that is friends of a member and he is changing his life and he came to church yesterday. His name is "The King.": It cracks me up because everyone here has nicknames, just like my dad always makes up funny names for everyone, and I feel right at home!

Sorry I don't have much time this week! But just wanted to let you all know that I love you tons! And know that God hears and answers our prayers and has a plan and purpose for us every single day!

Feliz Dia Mexicana el 15 de Sept! Viva Mexico! I know I am gringa, but Mexicana in my heart!

Oceans of love,
Hermana Barton
