October 17, 2016: Blessing Sparkeles in Nogales

This week was amazing. We had incredible things happèn. One thing that we have really started doing in the mission is pray in the street when we don't know where to go. This week we found lots of new people to teach, and had lots of blessing sparkles. In the hymn, Come Come Ye Saints, it says, "sacrifice brings forth the blessings of heaven." I know that if we keep working hard, the blessings that we need will keep coming.

Yesterday, I gave a talk in church, and for the first time in my life I wasn't nervous. I had a few notes, but I just got up and talked, and said what the spirit told me, and it was AWESOME. It was NOT me, but it was awesome, and I was doing it in Spanish. The mission does amazing things. Now I can give a talk for more than 30 seconds.

Today, we went to the town center. It is so weird because it is on the border, and you can see the US. On one side of the fence, there is an ALTO sign. And on the other side it says "STOP." We did things right and ate some rad tacos and a coke. But Mexican coke, which is so different from the nastiness in the US. Sometimes, for sacrifices... comes blessings in your stomach and soul...drinking a good coke!

Love you all so much.
Oceans of love,
Hermana Barton
