Happy birthday shout out to the Winter boys. I hope all of your wildest dreams come true!
This week we helped one of the hermanas that is in our ward in her tortillería. We made tons of tortillas and helped her sell them and package them! I can't believe that I liked the Tia Rosa tortillas before the misión, They are like card board... haha. But life plan if someday Maddy and I are homeless is that we can sell homemade flour tortillas and make a living of it! :)
This was a good week. We are teaching a man and he is awesome! After our lessons he reads a ton, and researches all his questions and comes prepared for the next lesson. This week he told us, "I am not going to believe your words. I know that I have to pray and ask God and He will
tell me the truth." And he also said that he was going to ask God if we had faith..... haha. I told him to let me know what God said about my faith!Another classic thing that happened is that we were visiting this lady. She had tons of questions, (which is good because I know she is trying to understand). But it was funny because in the middle of the lesson she stopped and said, ¨¨Cuando entraran pensaba que eran tontas... pero ahora se que son normales!¨¨ haha GRACIAS!
[editor's rough translation: "When you entered, I thought you were fools...but now I know you are normal!" talking about Meredith and her companion.]
It is funny all the experiences you can have knocking doors and walking the streets of Mexico! Everyday we meet someone new and have something to learn from each one of these people. Sometimes in the middle of a conversation, I come to reality and am stoked because I am speaking in Spanish! Ha.
How truly amazing this life is!
Oceans of love to all!
